Work on Frodsham Neighbourhood Plan commenced in 2014, and after a decade of consultation and meetings, residents were finally asked to vote in a referendum in November 2024. The Plan includes a detailed vision for Frodsham and policies relating to four topic areas: 1. Future housing development; 2. Economic Development and the visitor economy; 3. Green spaces, recreation and leisure; 4. Connectivity and access. The turnout was 13%, 79.4% of those who voted said ‘Yes’ to the Plan.
Neil Flanagan, Police Community Support Officer for Frodsham, will be offering free security leaflets and giveaways at Morrisons during December on these dates: 10th, 12-1; 18th, 4-5pm; and 22nd, 2-3pm. He will also take free security goodies to Bee Friends on a Thursday morning, and Main Street Memory Café on a Wednesday morning.
Bogus callers and rogue traders will be featured in the next edition, but if you have a concern dial 101.
