Jeff Wood was presented with his Silver Wolf award in December at Queen Charlotte’s Wood by Oliver Chambers, District Lead Volunteer. The award was in recognition by the former Chief Scout Bear Grylls for services to scouting of the most exceptional nature. Jeff is an outstanding volunteer and is involved with Explorers, Top Awards, Nights Away and the Queen Charlotte’s Wood Activity Centre.
As a recipient of this prestigious award, Jeff was invited by current Chief Scout Dwayne Fields to celebrate more formally at Windsor Castle by attending a service in St George's Chapel and watching the annual King's Scout St George's day parade in the Castle grounds.
