Two Frodsham residents have been found guilty and imprisoned for facilitating illegal entry to the UK. At Chester Crown Court on 4th February Thi Kieu Anh Hoang was jailed for 27 months and Tuan Khac Doan for 54 months for trafficking two teenagers from Vietnam. The two had been in custody since July 2023 following a visit to a Frodsham nail bar by the Western Exploitation team in company with Immigration officers. They were arrested under the Modern Slavery Act.
The Police are continuing to tackle this type of crime and ask the community to come forward with any information and suspicions they have to protect the vulnerable and punish the perpetrators.
