After former Head Student Grace Wheeler completed her Level 3 studies in Sixth Form in 2023, she embarked on an exciting 2 year Sports Journalism Apprenticeship and Gold Standard Diploma with BBC Sport. She has recently been shortlisted for an NCTJ Award of Excellence for Equality, Inclusion and Diversity for her impressive video story on Women’s Rugby.
To date, Grace has worked on some amazing projects including production support of the digital and social video of the 2024 Olympic Games, Rugby Six Nations, Sports Personality of the Year and various radio, TV and BBC IPlayer work. Many congratulations to Grace on an inspirational and brilliant start to her career.
