Constituency News

Local MP Mike Amesbury pleaded guilty to common assault on 16th January. A sentence of 10 weeks was given on 24th February at Chester Magistrates Court with 40% to be spent in prison and the rest on licence. However, Mr. Amesbury appealed the sentence and after 3 days served in prison, it was reduced to a 2 year suspended sentence with community service, anger management course and a monitoring of his drinking.

Climate Action Frodsham invites you to bring spare seeds and seedlings to Frodsham Community Centre on Saturday 5 April between 2-4pm. There will be childrens’ activities and advice on planting and growing, also refreshments.
